My educational journey has shaped not only my medical career, but also my values, discipline, and approach to patient care. From boarding school life to medical training abroad and specialist education in Malaysia, every stage contributed to the doctor I am today.
I began my early education at MRSM Langkawi, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a deep interest in science. The experience of living and studying in a competitive boarding school environment taught me resilience, independence, and the importance of teamwork.

I later continued my pre-university studies at Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar. During this period, I was exposed to a more international learning environment that further strengthened my communication skills, leadership abilities, and passion for medicine. It was here that I became increasingly certain about pursuing a career dedicated to helping patients and improving lives.

My medical journey then took me to University College Cork, where I obtained my medical degree, MB BCh BAO (Hons). Studying medicine in Ireland provided invaluable exposure to a diverse healthcare system and international clinical training. The years spent there were transformative, academically rigorous, personally challenging, and professionally rewarding. I had the opportunity to learn from experienced clinicians while caring for patients from different cultural and social backgrounds.

After returning to Malaysia, I pursued specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT Surgery) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HCTM), completing my Master of Otorhinolaryngology in 2019. Specialist training refined my expertise in diagnosing and managing complex ear, nose, and throat conditions in both adults and children. It also strengthened my commitment to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centred care.

Today, my educational experiences continue to guide my work as an ENT surgeon. They remind me that medicine is a lifelong journey of learning, growth, and service, one that I remain deeply passionate about every day.
